Q: What is your proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator?
Very Excellent! In May of 2012, I successfully completed Adobe Illustrator ART-40527, at UC San Diego/ Extension’s Web Media Certificate program. In 2010, I also successfully completed an Interactive Multimedia Certificate Program at San Diego Continuing Education, which included a 4-week session in Adobe Illustrator.
Q: What is your proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop?
Very Excellent! In May of 2012, I successfully completed Adobe Photoshop class #ART-40311, at UC San Diego Extension’s Web Media Certificate Program. I’m also an active member of the San Diego Photoshop Users Group.
Q: How fast are you at creating simple and pleasing designs for customers?
Excellent! I have an extensive background and train in Graphic Design. I have worked for both large and small corporations, non-profit agencies and local city government as a Graphic Designer. I also hold a BA in Graphic Design from San Diego State University.
Q: What is your ability to find a quick clip art on the web?
Excellent! I own several CD which has vector based clip art and I use Morguefile for free right-free stock photos. I also have an account with iStock Photos.
Q: What is your proficiency in using Microsoft Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint?
Excellent! During my employment with the City of San Diego, I developed professional presentations for the mayor's office and city councilmembers. I also use Excel as a tool to track my freelance graphic jobs.
Q: Have you ever run copiers, inkjet printers or any finishing machines?
Yes, while employed by the City of San Diego I used a HP 50″ wide-format printer. I also worked for Encad Inc., a wide-format color printer manufacturer, for 2 years as a MarCom Graphic Specialist in their Marketing Department.
